About DPA Communications

DPA Communications Corp. is an Ontario corporation. The company was incorporated in March 1985 to provide consulting services and began computer training in January 1987. The company does not sell computer hardware or software.

Jane England, with the company from its inception, now serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer.

Since that time, DPA has trained more than 50,000 individuals from thousands of different organizations throughout Canada. DPA Communications currently offers more than thirty different courses in the fields of office productivity, desktop publishing, multimedia and web site design.

In addition to these training programs, the company has organized and conducted specialized seminars across North America. These seminars have been conducted with the support of such sponsors as Adobe, Apple, and Hewlett Packard.

Since 1995, DPA Communications has offered training courses at its training centre located in downtown Toronto. Upon request, training courses have also been conducted off-site.

As of 2014, DPA Communications decided to move in a new direction to exclusively offer customized training at on-site client locations. This training format provides for a greater focus on the learning objectives of individual clients ensuring greater effectiveness of the learning experience.

All DPA instructors, in addition to their extensive training experience, are experts in their field and have worked in the industry and understand the needs and business concerns of the workplace.
